Under Armour represented themselves well with a full spread from Panera Bread, a raffle for an UA outfit and a PLINKO game where you are guaranteed to win something. What?!
Spread from Panera Bread Company
The group went out for a run and was strongly encouraged to come back by 7:20pm so that we could start the stretching seminar by Stretch Chi. I decided to hang with the 3-4 mile group since A) I have a long run planned for later in the week and B) I can't do more than 3.5 miles in 40 minutes.
It was an awesome run with a nice group of girls. We set out on a 'brisk' pace and I made a promise to myself right then and there that I would maintain that pace and push through those miles. I ended up running an average pace of 12:05 for those 3.3 miles! I know that is slow for a many (and to my credit, I have definitely run a faster mile before) but I have not run an overall faster 3.3 miles without feeling fatigued at all. Way to go body!

My winnings - a tumbler, stretch band, two hair ties and no-lines underwear
I certainly can't complain about the free offerings (the underwear is interesting but hey, why not give it a try) and will definitely be putting these items to use, especially the tumbler for my morning shakes!
We promptly began our stretching seminar with a representative from Stretch Chi, pronounced like the word 'stretchy'. She was very nice and had a lot of knowledge to share. I have to say that I didn't have an 'ah-ha!' moments with these stretches but it was a great way to reinforce what I've been doing through my yoga practice.
Sounds like an overall "win" of a day!
